Dance Theatre Raatikko produces high-quality theatre for young audiences. Raatikko has its own theatre in Vantaa, at the Tikkurila Silkkitehdas. Raatikko is also a touring theatre – we regularly set out on the road across Finland, bringing the magic of theatre to schools and kindergartens.
Raatikko’s productions are known for their open-minded combination of different art forms, resulting in energetic and approachable dance art on stage. For many children, a visit to Raatikko is their very first step into the world of art, and we want to make it an unforgettable and inspiring experience.
The Adventure Begins on Stage – Explore Our Autumn Programme
The autumn programme of Tanssiteatteri Raatikko invites audiences on a journey of adventure – to Wonderland, a abandoned house, the magic of Christmas, and the secrets of sound.
Seikkailu Ihmemaassa
Jump into an adventure where circus, dance, and theatre intertwine. Based on Lewis Carroll’s beloved Alice in Wonderland, this performance takes audiences into a delightfully whimsical world.
This almost wordless production captivates viewers even if the story is unfamiliar. Follow the hurried White Rabbit and discover the way to Wonderland!

Veni Vidi Vitsi
Three friends—Veni, Vidi, and Vitsi—guide the audience into an old house where strange things happen. Surprises emerge from beneath the sheets, and dance comes to life!
Along the way, you’ll meet cheerful animal characters and hear familiar melodies—perhaps you’ll even recognize the spider song.

Hämärinkäinen
As Christmas approaches, twilight begins to settle—but what happens when someone tries to stop it? Hämärinkäinen is a gentle Christmas story that welcomes audiences of all backgrounds and beliefs.
This fairy-tale-inspired mini musical is based on the children’s book by Mila Teräs and offers a warm introduction to the festive season.

Ding Dong!
Why does one sound make us laugh while another makes us feel suspense? Where does a sound go when we can no longer hear it? Sometimes sounds wander off, and then we set out to find them together.
Ding Dong! is an interactive performance where every sound matters.
